An itinerary has been posted for the band photos and football game to be held on Friday, September 3 at Harrison and Enlow Field. Please take a moment to view the file and be sure that all arrangements have been made to be in attendance. This event is required for all band students and non-enrolled members and a grade will be issued. The EVSC Co-Curricular Policy will be enforced.

New Rehearsal Uniform

I asked our Warrior Command members today if they would be willing to bring a white t-shirt to wear over whatever they wear to rehearsal to make it easier to see and clean drill forms. In keeping with their spirit of doing whatever necessary to make our band the best it can be our students have agreed to make this small but beneficial change. All Warrior Command members need to begin bringing a white t-shirt to rehearsals to wear over their usual attire. If anyone has a surplus of t-shirts and wouldn't mind sending in a few extras we will keep them on hand for those without one. Many thanks for everyone's help with this.

IBA All-District/Region Honor Band Application Forms

Application forms for the Indiana Bandmaster Association's All-District and All-Region Honor Band are now available for download. All-District is open to all 9-12 grade students, and All-Region is open to 9th grade students. Students are highly encouraged to apply - this is an excellent opportunity for musical growth and experience. Applications are due by September 3rd - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Hacienda Gives Back Night

Hacienda on Green River Road is once again partnering with our Instrumental Music Boosters to provide a day where part of their proceeds are given back to our program. On August 6 simply use the coupon distributed at school or available for download below and present it when you pay your bill. Our boosters will then receive a percentage of your total bill back as a donation from Hacienda. So gather all your friend and neighbors and meet at Hacienda to support instrumental music at Harrison!

This season we are contracting with Bateman Performing Arts Photography to take and sell photos of the band in their uniforms. Below are some sample photos for you to look at. More information will be coming soon, but we are planning on having pictures taken on September 3rd after-school. We will then provide dinner for the students via our Hospitality program before departing for the football game. Watch for more information soon!
