- After school hours, or in the case of an emergency, feel free to call my cell phone at 760-4693. As before it may be necessary to leave a message.

What a terrific start to the 2009 marching band season and to Tribal Elements. I am proud of the discipline demonstrated by our student leaders - you have started the season with the bar set high in regard to focus and discipline. Now we have to reach this standard every time we work together. We can do it! I am also excited to have so many terrific freshmen with us this year. Freshmen, you worked hard and are doing a terrific job! Keep it up! And to everyone, you did a terrific job sightreading the show. I'm excited and I hope you are as well.
I am always impressed at how well we begin our season. The band opens its arms and welcomes in the new students, and the returning students buckle down and take on new leadership roles. I am proud to look across the ensemble and see real leading and teaching going on. Nice job to everyone. Get some much deserved rest and relaxation - band camp will be here before we know it!

This document provides as much detail as possible regarding the events scheduled to take place during the school year, including rehearsals, performances, some fundraisers, and extra activities. This is an essential document for every instrumental music family to have a copy of. The Calendar Overview always takes precedence over any information shared via the web calendar, email, word of mouth, or other source. It will be the final reference point for decisions regarding notification of required events.

I know it seems early – we still have seven or eight weeks of the current year to get through – but believe or not the planning for next year has already begun, and I am especially proud that your student is going to be a part of our program.
